Simmtex offers proven problem-solving methodologies capable of diagnosing issues with measurable business impacts, regardless of company size or complexity. Our process involves engaging relevant stakeholders through interviews focused on testing key hypotheses related to the root causes of problems. Responses are analysed and clustered to define the problem statement accurately.
Usually, about 10% of the organization is interviewed, selecting individuals based on their knowledge relevance.
Typical examples where such a technique can be applied are:
- Why the busienss is not selling anticipated volumes of products?
- Why the cost of sales is higher than anticipated?
- Why do innovation projects not complete on time?
- Why the business cases are over-inflated?

Figure 1: Example - Problem is spread over two complementary business domains: Project and Organisation, each containing several themes
Once the problem is clearly defined, Simmtex facilitates the development of a Solution Space and supports the implementation of initiatives that deliver measurable results. For example, we help optimize innovation projects to shorten time-to-market and establish predictable product launch timelines.
Client Example Case:
A large international industrial cleaning equipment manufacturer faced challenges in product launches amid unpredictable global market conditions. Data indicated significant variations in launch outcomes across regions and product groups, with issues including delays, budget overruns, and higher-than-targeted costs.
Simmtex performed diagnostics by confirming initial hypotheses through interviews with senior management and project teams worldwide. The analysis identified core root causes: R&D owning the development process independently, poor resource allocation and competency gaps, and delayed decision-making.
Based on this, we designed a comprehensive, long-lasting solution involving:
- Organizational support for project initiatives
- Leadership capability development
- Functional competency enhancement
The plan included virtual and face-to-face training programs across leadership levels, implementation of a tailored Project Engine toolbox for day-to-day execution and facilitated workshops to for example improve supplier selection and integration in projects.
This structured approach enabled sustained improvements in project execution, reducing delays, controlling costs, and improving overall launch performance.
