Planning module defines a process for developing the project plan and explains all perquisites required to have a successful planning workshop. This enables students to define the type of plan required relative to project size and complexity. It also makes them familiar with concept of a skeleton vs. detailed plan, use of sprints to execute in time boxed manner and the purpose of buffer management.

    • Differentiate between skeleton and detailed planning; understand negatives and positives of each and the synergy of both.
    • Define basics of agile/sprint planning.
    • Define the concept of a buffer and how buffer management can help control project execution
    • Define what is risk and how to use risk mitigation strategies to ensure more robust project delivery – expand in a separate module.
