Value Stream Map (VSM) is one of the core lean tools; as such it represents a visual representation of the entire Manufacturing & Assembly value stream. The aim is to demonstrate all value-add and non-value-add elements/activities of the Manufacturing & Assembly System, and to help eliminate the non-value-add ones.
